How the Rolling 20-Year Rule works
Simple: if your bike is 20 years old or older at the time of the event, it’s eligible to compete in the appropriate class. That means the eligible years roll forward every season—opening the gate to more bikes over time.
Typical VMV classes you’ll see
- Twin Shock — the classics that started it all.
- Evo — the 80s era staples (approx. late ’70s to ’80s).
- Super Evo — early to mid-90s icons.
- Air-Cooled Thumper — XR/TT/DR/XT/KL style four-strokes.
- PW50 Juniors — we accept all years of PW50 to keep the heritage alive.
Note: Final class lists and eligibility for each event are published on the event page before entries open.
After you join
- You’ll receive an order confirmation and membership acknowledgement via email.
- We’ll keep you posted on upcoming ride days, race meetings, and how to enter.

FAQs
Is this a race licence?
No. Your VMV membership is separate from any competition licences or permits that may be required for specific events. Each event page will clearly state what you need.
Does it auto-renew?
No. We’ll remind you when it’s time to renew so you’re never caught out before an event.
Refunds or changes?
If you made a mistake at checkout, reach out before you’ve used the membership for an event and we’ll do our best to help.
